This two-day course will help you to:
• Understand the most common mental health disorders of children (as defined by the DSM-IV)
• Become familiar with the medications most frequently utilized for children with mental health conditions
• Learn about the relationship among :

»» Brain development
»» Treatment and caregiver interventions
»» Vicarious trauma
»» Medications prescribed
. . . all in a realistic and practical manner.
