Community Centered Boards

Community Centered Boards (CCBs), in partnership with private service providers, are responsible for managing and delivering services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families throughout the state of Colorado. Currently there are 20 Community Centered Boards who serve approximately 11,000 (almost 96% of the state's developmentally disabled population) and their families in every county across the state.

The Colorado Association of Community Centered Boards (CACCB) is the statewide consortium consisting of the 20 CCBs, and 20 private service providers (termed Service Provider Organizations, SPOs), who contract with the CCBs to provide services to persons with developmental disabilities. For information on the CCB located in your area, please visit the CACCB web site at: http://www.caccb.org/res.html. The easiest way to identify your CCB is to click on the interactive map at the top of the page, then click on your county.

To find out more about Colorado’s community-based system of services and supports for children and adults with developmental disabilities, visit the State of Colorado Developmental Disabilities Services web site at: http://www.cdhs.state.co.us/ohr/dds/DDS_center.html. However, in order to receive these services and supports, a person must first be determined eligible by their Community Centered Board.
