The Colorado Association of Family and Children's Agencies (CAFCA) is a broad-based group of nonprofit child welfare organizations uniting together to advocate for the best care and practices possible for Colorado's at-risk children, youth and families. Formed in 1982, CAFCA works with state and local government, the governor's office, administrative bodies and the Legislature on public policy issues impacting children and families. The Association also conducts training, education and research to promote standards and best practices in child welfare.
